Nicole Maternity

I got to spend some time with Nicole and Jeremy who are expecting their first child in July- a girl! They are outdoorsy folk so I asked if they would be willing to adventure down to a beach that requires a bit of a hike. They were up for anything!

There was a cloud front that was dissipating just as we arrived which made for the most beautiful, glowy photos. We did some rock scrambling, frolicking in the water, and lots of chatting about camping trips and all things outside.

For my maternity shoots I let clients bring up to 3 outfits- and I love getting creative with each look you bring. Golden hour, sunset and blue hour makes for different lighting and different opportunities to capture some magic. Since we went to a less traveled beach, it allowed us to take some more intimate photos. It’s always so empowering to see a woman confident in her body as it grows a child. I’m forever in awe of women and our gift to bring life into this world.
