Bree Blessingway

I had the pleasure to host & photograph Bree’s Blessingway before welcoming Baby Ila. We had appetizers, time to share, pray and Bless Bree. This was a faith based Blessingway as Bree and Caleb are Christians. We read scripture out loud that talked about how we respond to fear as people who trust in God. She left with a special candle that had strings tied around it representing the community of people who would be praying for her and supporting her through birth and postpartum.

It was so special to hear the special letters each person wrote and read aloud for bree. We also took the time to use non toxic body crayons to decorate her belly. I preferred doing this opposed to henna because it doesn’t require dry time and Bree LOVES color.
